“Rodmatic
receive electronic schedules from a major Customer twice a week. With around 100 lines on the schedule and demand stretching
forward for many months, it has always been very labour intensive to ensure that our MRP system was meeting the constantly
changing demand. Redman Solutions were able to help by writing an application to read in the Customer schedule and cross
refer it to our MRP system sales order book. By highlighting where part numbers and issue numbers had changed, as well as
where sales demand had been brought forward or put back, the time taken to process this information has now been reduced from
around 2 days to 4 hours.
Redman Solutions have also written applications to give essential reports, which
were previously inaccessible, ensuring that our business has maximum visibility of customer demands and production loads“.
